INDIGENOUS CADETSHIP PROGRAMS

 

NSW Public Sector - Indigenous Cadetship Program

  • Practical work experience with a full- time salary for 12 weeks each year
  • An allowance of $600 per fortnight whilst studying full-time
  • Up to $500 per semester for books etc
  • Permanent employment on successful completion of the cadetship study and workplace components

National Indigenous Cadetship Project (NICP)
  • Up to $15,400 per annum in financial assistance
  • 12 week paid work placement

Centrelink Indigenous Cadetship Program (CICP)
  • Cadets will be paid a book and compulsory equipment allowance
  • Centrelink will pay HECS fees on completion of successful results for each semester the cadet is on the program.

NSW Health Indigenous Nursing and Midwifery Cadetships
  • A study Allowance of $600 per fortnight
  • Employment for 12 weeks in your local hospital
  • Support from a mentor and Program Co-ordinator
  • On-going employment offered once graduated
