Bridging courses 2010

During February, bridging courses are offered for students commencing study in the Faculty of Health Sciences in:

Bridging courses are also open to anyone interested in brushing up their Chemistry, or Grammatical Analysis.

As far as the chemistry bridging course is concerned, it aims to develop an understanding of basic concepts in chemistry, particularly in relation to units of study offered at the Faculty of Health Sciences, eg Human Cell Biology and Body Systems . It is designed to assist students who have not studied this subject at an appropriate HSC level or who have not studied it for some time. While the chemistry bridging course is strongly recommended for commencing students who do not have the assumed knowledge they need for a degree, it is not a pre-requisite.

Self-assessment test

As a general rule, if you have studied and passed the equivalent subject at HSC level, you will not need to do the bridging course. If you are not sure whether or not you need to do a bridging course, you can download and complete the self-assessment test located on the individual course pages.
