Study Preparation Program (Cumberland campus students only)
The Study Preparation Program is designed to assist Cumberland students in settling into their new campus and lifestyle.
The program will introduce you to many of the general and academic staff and also gives you a chance to meet other students. Information provided throughout the program includes:
- Enrolment
Using the library - Academic reading and writing
- Referencing
- Refresher lectures in content areas such as psychology and anatomy
It is essential that all new Cumberland students attend the program.
The program runs from Monday 9 - 20 February 2009.
Additional orientation sessions are also held across the Faculty of Health Sciences. These will give you the chance to meet with local students as well as find out more about your discipline. If possible, we suggest that you also attend these sessions. They will be held between Monday 23 February – Thursday 26 February.
Undergraduate student mentors
We know that to study successfully you need support. An Australian student mentor could help you make friends more quickly and settle into Australian life. To be allocated a student mentor all you need to do is indicate your interest when you register for orientation.
