Up to three scholarships are available to full-time candidates commencing a postgraduate research course in 2008 Semester 2 in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

International Students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Faculty Funding for Research Students
Direct Research Costs (DRC) shall normally be borne by the student’s Supervisors, who may disburse these as needed within the budget of the supervisor’s external research funding.
The Faculty may make available up to $750 per year of DRC support to full-time research students, upon written application by the student with support of the student’s primary supervisor, and with the approval by the student’s Research Group Convenor. Additional amounts may be provided in exceptional circumstances, where justification is provided.
DRC will be reimbursed for currently enrolled HDR students with expenses undertaken during the current academic year of their candidature commencing after their enrolment date.
All DRC funds made available by the Faculty will be signed off by the Sub-Dean (Research Students).
The Faculty permits two successful applications for Faculty Funding support during a HDR student’s candidature. Funding will not be released to HDR students until a written request has been approved by Sub-Dean (Research Students).
