Rural and remote health

Rural students

The Faculty of Health Sciences is committed to strengthening the health and well being of rural and remote communities.

The Faculty caters for the unique need of our rural students with a special entry scheme for rural students who have gained a slightly lower UAI than other applicants. Students in the scheme give a long-term undertaking to service the health needs of rural communities. For more information and application forms refer to the information for future students.

Rural placements are also a significant part of clinical training for our students.
