
Locations
The 4th International Ankle Symposium will be held in the Eastern Avenue Auditorium and lecture theatre complex on the Camperdown Campus of the University of Sydney. The Camperdown campus is the main university campus and is located on a 72-hectare site near the junction of Parramatta and City Roads, a few kilometers from the CBD. The auditorium (Grid K19) is located a two minute walk from the city road entrance (N18), a 5 minute walk from the University Ave entrance (E22), and a 10 minute walk from Redfern railway station. For further information on the University of Sydney please click here.
Getting to the University
By bus from the City
The easiest way to travel from Circular Quay and city hotels to the university.
From early July the buses from the CBD will be pre-pay only. You will need to purchase your ticket before you board the bus. There are close to 900 ticket agents in Sydney, including newsagents, 7-elevens and convenience stores. Tickets are also available from Sydney Buses' TransitShops, CityRail train stations and Sydney Ferries wharves. Ask at your hotel for the closest ticket seller.
For stops on Parramatta Road catch routes 412, 413, 435, 436, 437, 438, 440, 461, 480 from George Street or Railway Square.
For stops on City Road (closest to Eastern Ave) catch routes 422, 423, 426, 428 from Castlereagh Street or Railway Square.
By bus - cross routes
Route 370 runs between Coogee and Leichhardt. Alight on City Rd for Sydney University.
Route 352 runs between Bondi Junction and Marrickville. Alight on City Rd for Sydney University.

By train

Parking
Parking is limited, but will be easier than usual as the University is on Intersemester break during the conference. The closest parking will be underneath the new Law building. Please note that payment is by ticket machine only and there are no credit card facilities available. Please click here for further information.
Getting to Sydney
By Air
Sydney is served by one airport, Sydney Kingsford-Smith Airport which is 8km from the CBD.
Travel to the city is by taxi, bus or train. The train service is expensive and infrequent compared to the bus. For further information click here.
